Welcome to Lake Arthur Municipal Schools!

 

Our District, the heartbeat of our community, serves over 130 students and is comprised of one preschool, one elementary school (K-5), one middle school (6-8) and one high school (9-12).

Our outstanding staff is eager to care for, support and challenge each student to pursue excellence and be prepared for college, career and life.

While we are making significant progress in both English Language Arts and Mathematics, opportunity gaps continue to exist for some of our students. Eliminating these gaps is the issue of our time. As the superintendent of Lake Arthur Municipal Public Schools, I am personally committed to ensuring a better and more just future for ALL of our students.

Our 90 Day Plans guide our work and hold us accountable to the promise of educational excellence. This year, in support of the 90 Day Plans and our commitment to eliminating opportunity gaps, we will invest in the following:

* Culturally Responsive Practices

* Improved School Culture and Development of Positive Relationships

It takes more than our teachers, staff, and administrators to accomplish this - we need YOU, parents and community members, as partners for our District to continue the work in reaching our shared goal of excellence for our students and community.
